The Bharat Ratna JRD Tatanagar Residents' Welfare Association urges all residents to follow these guidelines to help maintain a clean, safe, and harmonious community.
Waste Management: Segregate dry and wet waste in accordance with BBMP guidelines and hand it over only to authorized BBMP door-to-door waste collectors.
Cleanliness: Keep your surroundings and the layout clean and litter-free, especially water drains, to avoid blockages. Always carry your litter and dispose of it in the nearest designated waste bin.
Traffic Discipline: Drive responsibly within the residential premises—avoid overspeeding and unnecessary honking to ensure safety and peace for all residents.
Pedestrian Safety: Keep footpaths clear and unobstructed to allow safe and easy access for pedestrians.
Tenants & Caretakers Verification:Â
Verify backgrounds of all domestic helpers, caretakers, and tenants through proper police verification.
Do not allow unknown relatives or friends of helpers/caretakers to stay within your premises without informing the house owner and completing verification.
Report any suspicious persons or activities immediately to Kodigehalli Police Station and the RWA.
Unattended House:
Inform neighbours or relatives if you are travelling; ensure someone checks on your home regularly.
If your house will remain vacant, request them or any other known, trustworthy person to stay overnight for a nominal payment.to stay overnight.
Employ third-party security if you plan to be away for an extended period.

Inform Neighbours: Notify your immediate neighbours in advance about your construction schedule.
Protect Neighbouring Properties: Before starting any work, ensure that nearby houses are adequately covered to prevent dust and protected from potential damage.
Material Placement: Store construction materials within your property boundaries, close to the road edge, ensuring they do not obstruct traffic or pedestrian movement.
Clean Surroundings: Regularly clean any construction dust or debris that settles on the road or nearby areas.
Temporary Toilets: Please ensure that temporary toilets for construction workers are properly connected to the sanitary/sewage line.
Drain Maintenance: Keep drains clear and free from construction-related debris to avoid blockages.
Debris Disposal: Dispose of all construction waste through authorized and environmentally compliant channels. Do not dump construction debris on vacant plots under any circumstances.
